Berkshire County Kids' Place is a fully accredited
Children's Advocacy Center CACs provide a safe
homelike atmosphere where child abuse victims and
their non- offending family members can receive the
services necessary to heal from the trauma of abuse.

Kids' Place gives children who have experienced
violence in their lives, either as victims of abuse or
witnesses to domestic violence, a safe place to tell their stories and get help.

  • "Massachusetts has the highest rate of confirmed cases of child abuse and neglect in the county."1
  • In Massachusetts alone, as of November 23, 2009, the number of abused or neglected children that have been reported, is 102,317.2
  • The Massachusetts Court System states that "Berkshire County accounts for the second largest increase at 133.3% in the number of care and protection petitions field."3

Eligibility:

 

Services at the Kids' Place are free and
available to victims of child abuse,
children who witness domestic violence
and non-offending family members.

Hours:   Monday- Thursday                                                    8:30am- 7pm
             Fridays, 8:30- 5pm
